We started with a Factory OEM Twin Cam FLT Inner and Outer Primary... Removed the Factory Shift Arm Shaft from the front of the primary, milled a hole through the OEM FLT Inner and Outer Primary to match the FXR Mid-shift Position.

We then machine an Aluminum Shift Tube and then press bronze bushings inside for smooth shift shaft movement. The Inner Primary is then milled out and we weld the aluminum shift tube to the Inner Primary for Leak Proof Mid Shift Arm pass through.

To finish it all off… our Inner and Outer Primary Cover Sets are then Chemically Stripped, Media Blasted, and are offered in your choice of Wrinkle Black Powder Coat… OR with a High Quality Gloss Black Outer Primary and a OEM Style Textured Black Inner Primary Cover (not yet pictured)…

Which ever your choice may be, either finish offers an Exceptionally Clean Look and Durable Long Lasting Finish.

***As these are OEM Parts that we machine and modify to be Purpose Built, some pitting from the casting process may become visible when the front shift lug is removed.

This usually gets filled in from the powder coat process but may still be visible post, if you are building a “SHOW Bike” or are adamant about having the smoothest finish possible… we would be happy to go that extra mile to provide you with that Show Finish, at an additional cost… just give a call after you place your order and we will make that happen!***
